PainScape Solutions is a comprehensive approach to pain management; online that offers evidence-based strategies and tools to help cope better with pain and enhance wellbeing.
We adopt The Jing Method of Advanced Massage, an innovative approach to treating chronic musculoskeletal pain, combining the best Eastern and Western techniques. A range of techniques are applied from advanced soft tissue massage methods, from trigger point therapy, to fascial release, acupressure and stretching, to address the root causes of pain and restore function and balance.
The Jing Method™ is based on the latest scientific understanding of pain and its biopsychosocial factors. The biopsychosocial model of pain is a framework that explains how pain is not only a result of physical damage or injury but also influenced by emotional, psychological and social factors. For example, stress, anxiety, depression, beliefs, expectations, relationships and culture can all affect how a person experiences and responds to pain.
The Jing Method™ aims to empower clients to take an active role in their healing process by addressing these factors as well as the physical aspects of pain.
